Keyboard shortcuts

SPX controller has some basic keyboard shortcuts for fast operation. For more information about the software, visit SPX Knowledge Base.

Key	Function
F1	This :-)
Up / Down	Select previous / next item
Enter	Open / close selected item for editing
Space	Play / stop selected playlist item
Ctrl + D	Duplicate a template item.
Shift + Space	Continue animation to next step. Support for next -command must be implemented in the template.
F5	Send an instant update to the template (to fix typos, for instance). Support for update command must be implemented in the template.
Esc	Stop all layers used by current rundown.
CapsLock	Show item overlays for quick info and for copying API commands quickly.

Several controllers are connected to the SPX server! Only one recommended.

Light mode	Light mode is an experimental, simplified version of the rundown, with less features and it can be used for example on mobile devices or as a custom dock in OBS.
